Суффиксы в английском языке

Многие прилагательные в английском языке образуются с помощью прибавления суффиксов к глаголу или существительному. Посмотрите на типичные суффиксы:

-ible     responsible

-able    sociable

-ful       helpful

-y          bossy

-ive       assertive

-ous     ambitious

-al        practical

-ic         ironic

Образуйте прилагательные из данных слов, добавляя к ним вышеприведенные суффиксы:

Отрицательные приставки

Отрицательные приставки: -un, -im, -in, -ir, -dis. Когда данные приставки ставятся перед вначале прилагательного, они придают отрицательное значение слову.

Самой часто употребляемой приставкой является —un. Если вы выполняя упражнение на экзамене сомневаетесь какую приставку употребить, выбирайте ее!
